Rock 'n' Roll
got it's start in the early 50's. It came primarily from 'R & B' with a little
bit of 'southern country' influence. By the mid 50's it was deeply entrenched in
our culture and Elvis Presley was the 'King'. A lot has changed since 1956, some
for the better - some for the worse. One thing that never changes is the Class
of '56 eagerness for a class reunion every five years. We're not quite
as rowdy as we were back in the 60's and 70's (at least not some of us) but we
still like get together and have a good time with old friends.
We will try to keep
those that are scattered across the USA up to date about what's going on here
